Pantone Color Of The Year: How To Wear
Pantone has officially announced the color of the year for 2017: “Greenery”. It is a lighter military green color that can translate well into your wardrobe. I have to be honest though, I was never really a huge fan of this color- but this past year I have been wearing olive green more and more. That inspired me to create this post on “Ways to Wear Green”.
Pantone Color Of The Year: Greenery
The best pieces to incorporate the Pantone Color of the Year 2017 into your wardrobe are: Chinos, Sweaters, Blazers & Accessories.
This is an outfit that I put together inspired by Pantone green trend for this upcoming spring. I decided to go somewhat monochrome by making this ribbed crew neck sweater from H&M the main piece for the outfit and pairing it with some olive colored chinos from Zara and some brown leather boots from Bespoken to top it off.
When it comes to how to wear green this season you have to be sure to choose a color that works well with your skin tone. Brighter hued greens will flatter those with deeper complexions. Darker more rich colored greens will work better on more fair to medium skin tones. Not to say that the latter can’t wear the other type of green.
Let me know how you plan on wearing green this season by incorporating this new trend into your wardrobe!
